Example Donation Landing Page for a Nonprofit
(Write Your Compelling Header Here)

Landing Page Goals:

  • Drive viewers to your website for their next step.
  • Offer complete transparency about the impact your organization makes on the audience served.
  • Attach real people (your team and/or clients) to the work you do.
  • Host content that can be used across multiple channels.

Design Guidelines:

  • Don’t use a big header area – it’s not necessary for a landing page and takes up valuable space.
  • Place the most important content on the left – behavioral studies show that people favor the left side of pages.
  • Have one call-to-action (CTA), and place it above the fold – a landing page should not have too many directions.
  • Prove that the CTA is a good investment with proof content (videos, testimonials, statistics).
  • Show a real-life Landing Page Hero – people connect with people, ask one of your supporters to be featured on the landing page.

Landing Page Design TipBelow is an example of the first section readers will see. Humanize your content and your nonprofit by tying your nonprofit to real people (donors, volunteers, staff, board, vendors…) Make the most of your donation landing page and try to secure a sponsor to match donations dollar for dollar up to a certain amount. When the sponsor reaches their threshold, engage a new sponsor.
